Love Quote # 141

Share this page on:
A Note

I'll write her a note
One word a day
And give it to her
If we choose to part ways

The days keep coming
Words strung like rosaries
This short love note
Is becoming poetry

Through all of life's change
She still stands before me
Two lives are now one
In our poem turned story

And now that we're gray
There still isn't a day
Where I look in her eyes
And have nothing to say

I'll run out of paper
Before out of words
No phrase can suffice
To describe me and her

I can't wait to see her
In the depths of forever
For I have the last word
And we'll write it together
